Compatibility Chart

Tempest uses your phone’s built-in gyroscope to detect the subtle tilt of the base — which is why the dock itself requires no electronics or batteries. If your phone includes a true gyroscope sensor, Tempest will work.

All iPhones and almost all modern Android phones include gyroscope sensors, though some ultra-budget models omit this sensor and can only detect basic portrait/landscape orientation.

If your model is not listed in the chart below, simply look up your exact phone and confirm that “Gyroscope” appears in the specifications under “Sensors”. That is the only requirement.
